Hi Mr. Don! Thank you for the suggestion - this is a great idea! You can do this now, though it's not a true Q&A catalogue. You can type 'ablation risk' in the search bar (top right hand corner of every screen) and filter by "Forum". It will return all results from discussions about ablation risk.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can make this site more user friendly, especially around searching for certain topics or keywords.

Thanks for your feedback!

Find a way to catalogue your questions and answers for your new page. Like the little search bar at the top of most websites, yours could be right up top. A patient could type "Ablation risk" and get a few pages of what others have asked and answered about the subject.

Hi Thelma, I am so sorry you're having difficulty replying to conversations. Let's see what I can do to help.
I see in your 'Recent Activity' feed that you did reply to a conversation yesterday. Are you still having trouble, or did the issue resolve itself?

Thank you so much for being a part of this caring community and for sharing your experiences!

I've been receiving daily blogs via email for the past few months and for whatever reason it did not come through today.  I've checked all settings which seem correct and cannot understand why they would simply stop being received.  I love this forum and look forward to the daily blogs....please help me get reconnected!!

ER, if you wish to simply unsubscribe from email notifications, you may do so at any time from your Account Settings page - http://myafibexperience.org/myafib/myaccount

Click on the 'Notifications' tab and check the box at the bottom of the list - Unsubscribe from all site notifications.

If you wish to delete your account entirely, I will gladly take care of that for you.

Hi Kerstin, Website tells me I've reached a page that you must be a member or log in to view. I am logged in and I receive Digest emails daily. My user name is Kubrat. Did I neglect to do something further to join the forum?

Hi Jeannie, I'm so sorry you ran into this strange issue. I tested your account, which is definitely active and includes access to the forum. Would you mind going directly to the main Forum page and seeing if you can view all current discussions? The URL is http://myafibexperience.org/forums. If you are still not able to access the forum, would you mind sending me the URL of the page you are trying to access? Thank you!

HI I am new to being on a forum so am not sure where to start. I have had AFib for 5-6 years. Some of the meds I was prescribed I could not handle, I have had 2 heart ablations and one heart maze surgery in the past three years. I got a pacemaker put in this year. But the AFib is still around--now I am on Tikosyn. Has anyone else had experience with this drug? I watch my diet, exercise -Silver Sneakers and walking daily. I just take this one day at a time.

I didn't find the travel category; looked for it but all it did was give information on travel, not other folks questions.

I'm glad to be on board too! Here in AFib Town, there are two Community Managers - myself and Heather, who works for the American Heart Assoc. I work for a small TX based company called Small World Labs - who built and designed the community site. We work hand-in-hand with purpose-based organizations to help them better engage and serve their supporters. I wear many hats here in the community (IT support, design, etc) but overall -- I'm here to make sure all members have a positive experience and have access to the resources they need. So, if you ever have any suggestions or feedback about the community, I'm the gal to talk to! I hope today finds you happy and healthy!

Hi teddybear1947! I am not, but am hoping to learn more from all of you. In addition to working in communities, I am also an Outdoor Educator with an experiential learning school. I lead trips & expeditions all over the US, Mexico, Costa Rica & Nicaragua -- places which are at least 30 min from any major hospital. We are all required to have EMT-Basic Certifications, along with Wilderness Medicine training.

Over the years, we've had a handful of participants with a history of arrhythmia on our trips. So far, this site has been a great learning resource for me. I love that everyone is so willing to open up about their own experiences in support of others in the community!
