Hi Kerstin,
Once again the Daily Digest and Instant Alerts have not come through on my emails for several days and I'm missing it terribly, as It's the first thing I read every morning.   I had this problem several months ago and although there didn't appear to be an issue with my settings, you looked into it and it finally seemed to reconnect several days later.  I've once again checked all my settings and hope you can resolve this issue for me as I miss my daily update and contauct.
Many thanks.

Hi KJay‍
I am so sorry that you're having this issue again. I checked your settings and there doesn't appear to be any issue that I can see. I have asked my technical team to confirm that daily emails are still being sent to your email address. I will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

I am so happy to hear that the daily emails have been helpful for you! I'll make sure we get this fixed!

Hi Kerstin:

Is there soemthing the matter with the website? I see several posts referring to "Hip Pain" but when I click on them, I get sent to "Eliquis-it all boiled down to this". The last post on this page does mention hip pain, but none of the other posts mentioned in the daily digest appear. If I write "hip pain" and "search", nothing new appears. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi Jinny
After looking into this, it appears as though all of the posts you're seeing are in fact responses to the original thread titled "Eliquis-it all boiled down to this". It looks like the subject line of the response was changed to "HIP PAIN'. This is very confusing, and took me awhile to figure out what happened.
If you are looking for conversations specific to hip pain, I would suggest going to the main Discussions page (https://myafibexperience.org/forums) type in "HIp Pain" in the search bar above Recent Topics. When I did this, it brought up several conversations in which people mentioned hip pain, but I don't see many posts solely dedicated to this topic. You might need to post a new topic/question to get the answers you're looking for.
I hope this helps!

Hi Kerstin:
Good to talk with you on Tuesday.  I still want to be able to see the "heart attack" only page that I used to receive.  Can you send me a link to get to that site please.  I still want to receive the AFIB site also and would like to give my support to both sites.  Also, I have looked everywhere for the spell checker and no luck.  You mentioned you could send me a screen shot.  Thanks much and have a great day.

Right now, Tuesday is fine.  I hope to be able to receive another epidural soon and see the doctor today to schedule the epidural.  If it is Tuesday, I will let you know.  Have a great rest of the week.

HI Kerstin,
I'm having trouble sending a note to the forum so thought I would ask you this question. I am confused about Asymptomatic A-fib. Does this mean that a person does not feel/experience any symptoms . How can a person be in A-fib yet not have any symptoms? Obviously some people are more aware of physical changes in the body such as missed beats and tachycardia etc. Can this only be detected by an EKG ? Thankyou for any help you can give me to understand this more clearly.  Jean

Hi Morwenna‍, I hope you had a nice weekend! I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble posting in the forum. I see that you did post a reply this morning. Are you still experiencing the problem? I am in charge of technical issues in the community and can help further if you need it.

Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with Asymptomatic AFib and can't offer any sound advise specific to your question. I'm happy to see that you posted your question in the thread and am certain that one of our members will be able to help.

Please let me know if you are still experiencing continued issues with the forum, and I will make sure we get that taken care of right away.

Hi Mr. Don! Thank you for the suggestion - this is a great idea! You can do this now, though it's not a true Q&A catalogue. You can type 'ablation risk' in the search bar (top right hand corner of every screen) and filter by "Forum". It will return all results from discussions about ablation risk.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can make this site more user friendly, especially around searching for certain topics or keywords.

Thanks for your feedback!

Find a way to catalogue your questions and answers for your new page. Like the little search bar at the top of most websites, yours could be right up top. A patient could type "Ablation risk" and get a few pages of what others have asked and answered about the subject.

Hi Thelma, I am so sorry you're having difficulty replying to conversations. Let's see what I can do to help.
I see in your 'Recent Activity' feed that you did reply to a conversation yesterday. Are you still having trouble, or did the issue resolve itself?

Thank you so much for being a part of this caring community and for sharing your experiences!

I've been receiving daily blogs via email for the past few months and for whatever reason it did not come through today.  I've checked all settings which seem correct and cannot understand why they would simply stop being received.  I love this forum and look forward to the daily blogs....please help me get reconnected!!

ER, if you wish to simply unsubscribe from email notifications, you may do so at any time from your Account Settings page - http://myafibexperience.org/myafib/myaccount

Click on the 'Notifications' tab and check the box at the bottom of the list - Unsubscribe from all site notifications.

Would you mind going directly to the main Forum page and seeing if you can view all current discussions? The URL is http://myafibexperience.org/forums. HI I am new to being on a forum so am not sure where to start. I have had AFib for 5-6 years. Some of the meds I was prescribed I could not handle, I have had 2 heart ablations and one heart maze surgery in the past three years. I got a pacemaker put in this year. But the AFib is still around--now I am on Tikosyn. Has anyone else had experience with this drug? I watch my diet, exercise -Silver Sneakers and walking daily. I just take this one day at a time.

I'm glad to be on board too! Here in AFib Town, there are two Community Managers - myself and Heather, who works for the American Heart Assoc. I work for a small TX based company called Small World Labs - who built and designed the community site. We work hand-in-hand with purpose-based organizations to help them better engage and serve their supporters. I wear many hats here in the community (IT support, design, etc) but overall -- I'm here to make sure all members have a positive experience and have access to the resources they need. So, if you ever have any suggestions or feedback about the community, I'm the gal to talk to! I hope today finds you happy and healthy!

Hi teddybear1947! I am not, but am hoping to learn more from all of you. In addition to working in communities, I am also an Outdoor Educator with an experiential learning school. I lead trips & expeditions all over the US, Mexico, Costa Rica & Nicaragua -- places which are at least 30 min from any major hospital. We are all required to have EMT-Basic Certifications, along with Wilderness Medicine training.

Over the years, we've had a handful of participants with a history of arrhythmia on our trips. So far, this site has been a great learning resource for me. I love that everyone is so willing to open up about their own experiences in support of others in the community!
