Save The Date / What's Your Biggest Afib-related Challenge?

We're SO excited to announce that we have finalized the dates and location for the 2018 Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference!

Drumroll, please …

The 2018 Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference is officially scheduled for August 3-5, 2018, at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

So now is a great time to get out your calendar, and save the date.

Especially if any of the following sounds familiar:

    • You're constantly wondering, "What if?" What if you have an afib episode? If you start a certain activity or chore, will you be able to finish it?

    • Fear, anxiety, and depression have begun encroaching on your life. You’re anxious about going anywhere by yourself. You're scared you may have a stroke. You worry about whether you should go to the ER each time you have an afib episode.

    • Your afib episodes are traumatic, and you feel like you're always waiting for the next one to happen.

    • Your afib is persistent, or longstanding persistent, and you live in fear of having a stroke, and/or developing heart failure or dementia.

    • You long to be afib-free, and get back to normal.

If you struggle with these types of worries and fears, then I'm confident you'll experience a profound sense of relief when you attend the 2018 Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference.

You'll hear from doctors who are on the leading edge of afib research and treatment, and you'll meet other patients who are where you are, right now.

The best part: you’ll learn what you can do in terms of treatment and lifestyle changes to get your life back.

I'd like to share a story that highlights the real-life benefits that are possible when you attend the Get In Rhythm. Stay In Rhythm.® Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference.

A group of people who met at the 2016 conference all decided to have the same procedure with the same doctor as a result of hearing him speak. They formed a group to support each other, and now, having undergone that procedure, they're ALL afib-free!

Several of them attended the 2017 conference to have a reunion and, more importantly, to share their stories … to help other attendees see how getting rid of afib IS possible!

To that end, as we develop the content we plan to share with you this year (via no-cost trainings and of course, at the conference), we want to know the single biggest afib challenge YOU are experiencing right now.

So, we designed a simple, quick survey that comprises just three afib-related questions, and a handful of demographics questions.

We would so appreciate it if you’d take a minute to let us know how we can best support you.

Please let us know here

Thank you in advance!

To your health,

Mellanie True Hills, StopAfib.org
